2. Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 aims for a prosperous economy

It aims to increase the contribution of modern commerce and e-commerce to 80% in the retail sector by 2030. It hopes to increase online payments to 70% by 2030, indicating great interest in modern commerce. In addition, the Saudi E-commerce Council was established to support digital transformation and enhance the e-commerce business system in the Kingdom.
3. The ambitious country
The vision seeks to apply the principles of efficiency and accountability at all levels. It aims to commit the government to operate in accordance with high standards of transparency and accountability. Managing financial resources efficiently, establishing flexible government institutions and adopting an effective performance monitoring system. Therefore, the vision called on citizens to play their roles, whether in the government, private or non-profit sectors, in order to achieve the common goal and achieve hopes and responsibilities within the group and the individual. Therefore, more than one goal has been established to support this axis, including: raising the contribution of the non-profit sector, reaching the top five positions in e-government and increasing non-oil government revenues.
